THE COMPANY
What Cerby does
Cerby develops security and identity automation software for “disconnected” or unmanaged applications, that is, tools that don't support standards such as SSO, SAML or SCIM. Its platform allows IT and security teams to control access, credentials and the account lifecycle in these applications, which are usually left out of traditional identity management systems.
TRACK RECORD
Company and market
Based in San Francisco, Cerby was founded by Belsasar Lepe (CEO) and Vidal González (CTO), with Bismarck Lepe as advisor. It is used by brands such as Fox, where it protects about 1,500 accounts, ClickUp, Colgate-Palmolive and Productive. In 2025 it announced a Series B led by DTCP, with funds such as Okta Ventures and Salesforce Ventures.
SVLA'S INVESTMENT
Why we invested
SV Links Angels invested in Cerby in 2021, at the Seed stage, through a SAFE. The decision was based on the recognition of its founders in Silicon Valley, including the Lepe brothers, with previous experience at Ooyala and an exit of approximately US$400M; on the acceleration of corporate cybersecurity after the pandemic; and on the company's early commercial validation.
