What Glass does
Glass develops G-Commerce, a marketplace designed for the public sector. From a single platform, government agencies can search, compare, buy and track their purchases, through a process that is faster and more transparent than traditional procurement schemes. The platform incorporates artificial intelligence to make product search and spending control easier.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Glass was founded by Paola Santana. Its platform has been contracted and used by the governments of Seattle, San Mateo (California), the State of Illinois, Dallas County and Mexico City. Since its launch in 2020 it has worked with more than 125 public agencies, and in 2026 Government Technology included it in its AI 50 list.

Why we invested
SV Links Angels invested in Glass in 2022, in its Seed Extension round. The decision was based on the track record of its founder, Paola Santana, a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Matternet, a delivery drone company; on her ability to execute; and on the size of the government market, an underserved market.
