THE COMPANY
What MiSalud does
MiSalud offers hybrid, bilingual healthcare, in Spanish and English, for Hispanic workers and their families. Its programs include virtual consultations, mental health, nutrition and chronic disease management, available via app, video, phone or text message. The company seeks to eliminate the language and cultural barriers, as well as the high costs, that this population faces in receiving care.
TRACK RECORD
Company and market
Co-founded by Bismarck Lepe and Wendy Johansson, and now led by Bismarck Lepe as CEO, MiSalud works primarily with employers in sectors such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing and hospitality, in the United States and Mexico. It covers more than 100,000 members, with an enrollment rate above 80% at client companies and a demonstrated return of more than 3.5x for employers. In 2025 it announced a new funding round led by IGNIA.
SVLA'S INVESTMENT
Why we invested
SV Links Angels invested in MiSalud in 2021, at the Seed stage, through a SAFE. The decision was based on the track record of Bismarck Lepe, then the company's executive chairman; on the large opportunity in the Hispanic healthcare sector in the United States; and on MiSalud's proposal to eliminate language and cultural barriers and reduce high medical costs.
